Meet our Members no showing - profiles have correct box checked

We are reviving an old site. Our admin signed on as a member and set up an individual member profile.
He checked the box to make it public.
The "Meet our Members" option does NOT show up on the Home page.
WHY?
NOTE: The prior admin had set up a CUSTOM PAGE called "Meet our Members" that was outdated and poorly formatted. The admin deleted that page.
Could that be the issue? If so, any easy fix?

Meet Our Members is shut off...

Admin Console > Website Settings > Appearance Tab ... Scroll down to Hide Links and then uncheck M.O.M. checkbox.
