Difficulty or inability to connect to club website

Club number 1976054

In the past few weeks it has become difficult or sometimes impossible to connect to the club website. We've noticed this on multiple computers and from multiple locations. Last night the website did not load after 1 hour. This morning I had to resort (again) to using VPN, and that itself is not stable since the Great Firewall of China is sometimes detected and interrupted VPN traffic.

I've tried clearing cache and cookies using CCleaner. That didn't help.

A few years back there had been some denial of service attacks which prevented access without VPN, but right now the access (or not) seems random. Is that more likely to be bandwidth throttling by the ISP?

My current local IP is 182.245.9.140

We are not blocking 182.245.9.140
You need to give us the IP when you are having issues.

China will always be a problem, you will just have to manage around them.
Thank you,

Thanks Brian.

I noticed this morning that my ip is radically different (61.166.242.154) and response time has jumped back to normal. I thought that earlier address with the higher number in the 1st octet was a bit unusual, since I normally get something starting with 61.

The problem seems to have been resolved by restarting the modem and router which reset the ip, but considering I'm in China that's still just a guess.
