I think I found the issue. I was trying to set one of our member's roles to president while making the other changes - but the member with initials BD has an invalid address - and I kept getting an error that has an invalid primary email address, but I thought the other updates would take. I think anytime that error comes up, any other changes I made were not saved and were discarded. I just went through and made the officer changes. If BD's role assignment to President is included in the changes, the role changes don't seem to save after I exit/logout and log back in. If I skip his, the changes to save.
I emailed Bernard to update his email address to a valid one, like his secondary email (he has admin edits turned off).
