Copy paste instruction

Could you let me know where that is documented? I tried copy and paste from several versions of the agenda page and always got an Jumbled Mess when I pasted into Microsoft Word or a text editor. But it sounds like exactly the feature I need.

I think we have always assumed that people knew how to copy and paste, so we never documented a specific process for this.

However, if you are trying to do this, keep the following in mind:

1. Whether you are successful in doing this or not frequently depends on what elements of the web page you are trying to copy/paste, and where (what app) you are trying to paste to. Sometimes you may need to copy/paste in a piecemeal fashion for best results, because of the variety of information in the FTH web pages. (e.g. copy/paste straight text separately from tabular information) Additionally, while you may have better results copy/pasting everything at once into MS Word or similar, you may only be successful in copy/pasting the tabular information (e.g. the agenda rows) into MS Excel. The destination app *does* matter, and your results may vary.

2. Keep in mind that sometimes simpler is better when doing this sort of thing. In our case, the simplest representation of the FTH agenda is usually the print agenda screen. This is the HTML screen that shows *before* you get the print dialog or print preview. You can access this by doing a print, but canceling the print dialog or print preview so that you just see the print version of the agenda. This version is streamlined and stripped down in many regards. You can probably experiment with the print options to cut it down more.
