Trying to remove a member (the Kim in the 2nd row of the attached screen shot) as VPE, but looks like the change won't go through as long as her email is broken. When I try to remove her as VPE, I get "Invalid/Non-functioning E-mail: kim@benefitsnj.net (No advertised SMTP servers are accepting mail.)", and she remains as VPE.
There is a history of trouble with that address, and right now we're not trying to solve that problem. We're just trying to free up the VPE role so we can assign it to the new VPE. I'd rather not delete Kim entirely because of the challenges she has with her address and with the opt-in. I'm hoping there's a way we can somehow just get her out of the VPE slot, despite the problematic address.

You are going to have to ask her to enter a new email address or ask her to correct the two she has in there, because neither of them work

Remove the offending email, leave blank, click save.
System will assign dummy email.
Remove her from the vped position.
When she gets a working email remove 5he dummy and add the valid email.
