Unable to become the administrator of our club website

I have made repeated requests to become the administrator of our club website. I must be missing a step somewhere. The last effort said an email would be sent to the president, the current administrator and the club contact which is me.
I am education vp of the club. Any help would be most appreciated.

Ok, but what is the issue?

Are the request approvers not getting the approval email? Are you not getting approved?

Dear Steve,
I just called the current admin. She got the email but did not respond. While we were on the phone she gave approval for the change and said I would be receiving an email confirming that I am the new admin. How long does it normally take for me to receive a confirming email?

Should be as soon as the admin clicks the approval link.

I can see that Donna Spencer is now the admin with a comcast.net email address.
