I get the following message when emailing to the officers alias:
gordon@couragent.net appears to be an invalid or non-working recipient email address. (No advertised SMTP servers are accepting mail.)

If you believe this warning is incorrect, please visit support.toastmastersclubs.org and post a support request message.
HOWEVER, I can mail to gordon@couragent.net privately from my gmail account and it works just fine. Also, everyone else on the officer distribution gets the email. Also, Gorgon has been unable to send any emails to the officer distribution--they get bounced. Any suggestions?

I am able to validate gordon@couragent.net using our internal email checker code. It is OK.
However, it took a very loooooong time to complete the check. If the network was busy, I can see how it may have timed out. You could get intermittent issues as a result.
Additionally, look at the attached CheckTLS report on the email address. Apparently, there is an issue with the domain cert, highlighted in yellow on page 2
