Email templates variables not working

None of the variables seem to be working today. My field test message resulted in part in the following:
name = {{name}}
firstname = {{firstname}}
lastname = {{lastname}}

Let me know if I should start a new thread for this issue.

I did some testing on this (w/ Chrome) using templates w/ Send Basic Email and the Agenda Email, and I am not able to reproduce this issue.

Are you still seeing this issue? Can you provide some additional details? (Browser, template contents, etc.)
