Linking to uploaded files from custom meeting minutes page

Hi,
I'm been trying to figure this out by myself but I can't. I made a custom page to place meeting minutes. I have already reviewed the forum regarding linking to uploaded files but it does not work as it appears in the free toast host 3 forum. When I right click on the file image, the dialog box does not appear. What appears is a right hand drop down menu with the ability to do many things(ie a regular right hand drop down menu). I copy the link url then place on the minutes page and when you click on it, it goes to Tri City's home page. Guidance will be greatly appreciated.

Don't right click, just do a normal left click on the image, then copy the text in the box at the bottom of the popup box
(in most browsers double clicking in the box will select the entire url for the file)

Thank you so much! I couldn't understand what I was doing wrong. I hope I can ask one more question. How do I make it so that it doesn't download but just views online?

change action=download to action=inline in the URL. Be aware that online viewing depends a lot on what users browsers support--not guaranteed to work in all cases.
