Cannot upload files as Administrator

I signed in as Admin, and using Admin console attempted to upload files. The upload functionality worked well. However, after I saved or hit refresh, the uploaded file was gone. My guess is that the access priviledges are sest for Admin who is a director. I am not director. But, one director has no problem uploading, and neither another person who used to support the site, but was a director.

1) there is only 1 site administrator if you are using that user and password you are the admin.

2) what kind of file, what size, file names should not have special characters other than - and _

3) what operating system and what browser?
