Certificate Subject Alternative Name Entry Needed

Since switching our club over from a toastmastersclubs.org URL to a domain name we purchased (in our case, pontificators.org), club members have been complaining that the club website is harder to access. In looking into the issue, it appears the problem is that the https certificate is for "pontificators.org", but members are being directed to " www.pontificators.org ". This is causing the browser think the certificate is not valid for the site, and preventing access. If the certificate were updated to have an additional Subject Alternative Name (SAN) DNS entry of " www.pontificators.org " or "*.pontificators.org", I believe that would resolve the issues we are seeing.

What do we need to do to get an updated certificate with the additional SAN DNS entry that includes a "www" or "*" prefix? Is anyone else seeing this issue?
