Same Team, brother.
Don't be presumptuous. We are all volunteers here working with very limited resources and tools. My paying job is as a chemical engineer and project manager, and I just maintain FTH as a spare-time intellectual pursuit and hobby... (No actual IT experience -- self taught on coding) Obviously, I have a stake in the system's success, or I would spend my time on other things.
While we certainly want users to get value from the system, everyone needs to keep in mind the limitations that we are working within to maintain the system. Things like users helping us find bugs and crowd-sourcing information gathering efforts to support the system are not just good ideas, they are essential given our constraints.
I sympathize with any issues you may have with a specific browser and hardware. We may be able to offer some suggestions in some cases just based on past experiences, but it is quite unrealistic to expect us to be able to figure out a problem with each and every browser / hardware scenario.
While we will sometimes advise users to be patient and persistent with us, there are areas (hardware and oddball browser configs) where that will not bear any fruit. The only hardware and browsers we have to test things with are the ones we are using.
