Special characters missing in e-mails (problem with code page?)

Hi,
Some of our members have diacritics in their names (Č,Ć, Đ) and they are lost when emailing agenda. Also, any text that i write in email message when sending agenda loses those characters.
For instance, Alen Anđelić becomes Alen Aneli.

Sorry FTH Mail only supports utf-8 not double string characters.
Thank you,

No plans to change that? Considering that the software is used internationally. I can't believe I'm the first one with this issue. Also, I worked on many applications where utf-8 could normally show diacritics.

Here is the UTF-8 ascii character set. remember their PC has to be set to UTf-8 and not some microsoft characterset

www.fileformat.info/info/charset/UTF-8/list.htm

To check what character set they are using in windows powershell
[System.Text.Encoding]::Default

For example mine uses iso-8859-1 (Windows-1252)
