Web page improvement-resizing photos for mobile phone viewing

Hello,
Suggestions from another blog on improvements to a club web page was to have:
1 Less information on the home page to reduce scrolling on your mobile phone, so I plan to remove some wording.
2. I need help in optimizing the home page photos so they are not stretched when viewing on the mobile phone.

I did locate the solution. Place 80% in the width box and leave the height blank. This will permit distortion of the home page photos viewed on the mobile phone. Thanks.
