I have added a new member to my club. FTH says it's sending a confirmation email. When he (or I) try to log in as the new member, and enter his name or email, there is no drop-down to let his name be selected. His name shows in the member list, with strikethroughs indicating not confirmed, but we can't select him to let him set his password. Other members show up just fine. I don't know what to do.

The new member must click the link in the email sent to them to agree to be added. Nothing happens until that happens.
