Cannot reset password: form errrors. no longer logged in

I have not used the website in a long time and am now in a place to teach a new Admin. I never had a problem with the password before. but now when I try to reset it, I get this message after I hit save: you have errors on your form. Please scroll down and correct them. You are no longer logged in. Please log in again.

but when I do try to log in again, it says club # or password not valid. I have tried using a leading 0 or not. neither works. It is the password I just created. I have tried 4 different passwords. what is wrong?

Without your club number there is nothing we can do for you.

I was able to login as the site admin no problems,

I sent you a new password reset link, copy and paste the text of the link into your browser and try again.

thanks. it still did not work. but what I did was login as a user first, after updating my personal password. then when i requested a new admin password and logged in, it worked. might want to suggest that if you ever see this issue again.
