Cannot set password as admin and it keeps logging me out

I let FTH send me an auth code to login to 7107587 because apparently I forgot my password. But if I login and try to SET a password or if I try to go to membership management and do some updating there, it logs me out.. I have tried a few times and think there is something going on.
I don't have any third party code, so I know that's not the issue.

sorry that didn't work.. still get an error when trying to set password
and when I try to open membership management it tells me I'm not logged in even after I just logged in with the key that was sent.

also I've gone into my chrome settings twice now and deleted the cookies for the site.

I had no issues resetting the admin password or editing a page after.
