Data Transfer Error when trying to change domain name

Hello,

Due to some unfortunate issues with registration by club members who are no longer around, we need to change our domain name for our site from burbanktoastmasters.org to burbanktoastmasters.com . The alias of 1320.xxx.xxx still works fine.

DIG of the new domain name resolves to:
id 63324
opcode QUERY
rcode NOERROR
flags QR RD RA
;QUESTION
burbanktoastmasters.com. IN A
;ANSWER
burbanktoastmasters.com. 599 IN A 50.19.253.65
;AUTHORITY
;ADDITIONAL

When I try to make the change logged in as site admin I get the following error:

***Data Transfer error***
Javascript Function=StdAdminSaveBtnClick
Status=Error
Error =

Please notify us about this at support.xxxxxx

I've tried with and without the "www" added to domain, both produce same error. I've tried from several browsers with cache cleared prior just in case it was on my side.

Any help is appreciated.

Thank you.

1) click the reload link at the bottom of your site.

2) log in as the site admin

3) enter the new domain in the admin basic setting panel.

Brian,

Thanks for your quick reply. So this was a very fluid incident and we were able to track down an old member that had the login and get the info. We reestablished the .org domain. But now I have a follow up issues:

Though our club admin console shows the burbantoastmasters.org domain and a dig shows the correct IP, it still resolves to the FTH welcome screen and not the site.

Thanks for your help and all your work on TMI's behalf here.
