It turns out that the malware scripts were also in your meeting info page.  I just stripped those also.  You should probably check all your HTML content to see if they contain scripts, and then ditch those scripts just to be on the safe side.

Hi Steve,

I will look into what happened.  I was the person two others reported it to.

I’m not sure any of us have the ability to go through the code.  Can we restore the site to the time before we had the problem and that would fix it?

No way to restore a single site.

Here is what happened:

I logged on my computer on Monday, 3/14/22 between 7:00 - 7:30am with no issues. I changed to a new modem on Sunday, 3/13/22. The pop up add happened when I tried to log in to the Berkeley Communicators agenda. After calling the Geek Squad I thought it was fixed. This morning I tried logging into the club agenda and got more virus warnings. Hope this helps. Best,

More info:
your email.  I think it was Monday morning 3/14, at first I thought it was just my computer until it happened to Livia.  I noticed the issue with the Microsoft warning I received once for unknown reasons:
  • It happened when I would try to log on the website for Berkeley Communicators agenda to update; and near the browser there was a Microsoft warning pop up and then later there was a pop up that looked inappropriate in the actual browser-- I didn't click on anything except to exit
  • I called Bestbuy Geeksquad to remotely add Webroot protection back on-- I had just noticed it had fell off my computer desktop(for unknown reason)-- they ran Webroot to scan for viruses and double check my laptop but nothing showed up
  • On Tuesday, I made an appt. at the Bestbuy store the Geeksquad added an Ad Block app and again they ran a Webroot virus protection, again and nothing showed up.
The good news is that I haven't had any warning message when I go onto the website since you gave us the all clear.
Just to double check, I made an appointment and I am going to leave my computer with the Geeksquad at Bestbuy this Friday, 3/18 for a couple of days to take a deep dive into my computer.  This is a brand new Apple MacPro laptop M1 Chip.

FTH does not retain previous versions of the numerous sites in the system. Each club is responsible for their own custom content and way this is accomplished is by saving your custom content;
