Replies to Officer email list....sends an email to myself

Hello,

I'm an club officer and noticed that when I reply to an officer email list (that I'm included on), I get the email that I sent out.
Is there a setting to prevent my emails to the mailing list, to NOT send back an email to me?
It wasn't clear if this was possible in the documentation.

I've read the link you shared. It's not clear if there's a setting to prevent emails that I send to the email list to NOT send to me.
I know that with a google alias, (email group). If I were to send an email to the email list (and it includes me on that list)—it would know to not send me back the email I sent to the list since I'm already on the list. Hope that make sense!

Sorry, I thought you were referring to replies going to all members of the group, which is an optional setting.
Emails sent to a group go to all members of the group, including the sender if the sender is in the group.  (That can be handy when using the website emailer, as the sent message isn't saved on your device).

I'm not sure what you mean? — I use gmail and i do see my sent email.

In any case, it sounds like we don't have an option to prevent an email from being sent back to me if I send to an email group that includes me—correct ?

Correct, emails to a group will go to everyone in the group, including the sender if the sender is in the group.

(There are many places where the system gives members the option of sending email via the website emailer or your system email client, e.g, links in agendas, Private Member Directory, Membership Management, Club Email Addresses)
