Member name does not auto-fill in Dues Follow-up

3 years 1 week ago
#90054
Our club (#9491) has recently started using the Dues Management tool.
The initial invoices went out perfectly.
I tried to use the unpaid dues follow-up and saw that I had to create the email/.template.
I used the "Hello {{membername}}",from the initial email, but the name did not auto-fill.
the email received only said "Hello ,"

{{membername}} is not a valid variable
Please check the pull down under the message box and select the correct name variable you want to use.
Thank you,

I looked into this.  {{membername}} & {{role}} are two variables that are deprecated and are being phased out... use {{name}} & {{officerrole}} instead--thow are what is documented in the drop-downs as Brian mentions.

The two deprecated variable names are not guaranteed to work in all cases and I will totally ditch them at some point.
