I am receiving the Data Transfer Error when I try to use Membership Management to add new members.

The refresh from server step has not helped me. Even the popup error asks if I would like to refresh from server and I just have to click OK.
If I do a quick add of name only, it works and adds an email of "noemail-1679008729.90003@toastmastersclubs.org" If I try to add the correct email, I get the circling dots for about 20 minutes, before the Data Transfer error is displayed. So it must be related to sending the email notifications.

It is possibly an issue related to the particular email address you are trying to add. For comparison, are you able to add a different email address? (just for testing)

It appears to be working now. I saved it with another email address - worked - changed it to the correct email address - worked!
Then, I save another new member with the correct email address, and it appeared to work. I am not sure about the opt-in email. I thought I would receive an email saying that the new member add was pending, and I haven't received it. Resent the opt-in email to the first new member, just in case. So I hope this is now resolved. I will have to discuss this with the new members.

No, your indication that the new member add is pending is the strike through of the person's contact information. We really try not to send any more emails than is absolutely necessary.
