Mail variables {{in curly brackets}} not working

Hi, curly brackets in emails, e.g the agenda, do not seem to work.

Selecting from the menu and pasting does nothing.

Typing them manually seems to give results for some things but it seems sporadic and difficult to repeat.

Can you please give me a specific example that is not working so I can track this down?   Thanks!

I tried one with:
{{name}}

{{firstname}}

{{lastname}}

{{nextmtgtm}}
That just sent my whole name.

I tried various variations after Dear... (Dear {{name}}, then I tried Dear {{firstname}}) that didn't send any names

They seem to be coming through now

If you figure out how to reproduce the issue, please let me know.

I'm actually getting two emails now, one with nothing and one with the names inserted.
