Receiving Please confirm you are *not* a Member messages without making request

Dear Support,Over the past three weeks, I have randomly receive the  following emails with the subject line, Please confirm you are *not* a Member of Club 654507 , on July 1st and July 15th, without ever actually initiating such a request on either date. I am member of Club 654507 and serve as our club VPPR and was inquiring whether there are any known issues that  have  been reported recently with confirmation of not being member" messages being  generated to members even if the member did not initiate the action.

Have been a member for years and had never previously received such a message before.Thanks in advance for any insightAnthony White

Thanks for your reply.  Yes. Our club number is 654507 and the website link is  654507.toastmastersclubs.org/  

 

Are you sharing your email from your club?
The message only comes if you click or use the link at the bottom of your club emails.

Thanks for your response Brian.  No. We typically communicate thru the club email. I personally only communicate with a handful of members using personal email.

I did not click the link at any point.

If you have forwarded an agenda (addressed to you) to anyone, that person can click on the link. The same applies if the recipient has forwarded it on to yet another person. If the not-a-member messages are only happening occasionally, this might be the reason.
