Invoicing oddities #4182

I was trying to update the invoice settings for our March dues renewal. When there is no text in the custom message, the default invoice message does not appear at all. When I add text to the custom message, I get both my text (unformatted) AND the default message as a sidebar. I thought maybe it was a quirk in the display, so I emailed one to myself and that's what the email looks like as well. Screen shot attached. "Double or nothing". 

I've attached screen shots of the admin setup as well. 

While I look into this if you put your message in the after box. it will show.
You can copy the default message and put in the after box and you can manipulate.

Hello, is there a resolution for this? I am seeing this in for our invoices as well.

I tried the after box work around, however it does not seem to be keeping message's formatting/paragraphs, everything gets condensed to one line.

try the invoicing now.

Still double or nothing. I’ve attached two screen shots of the invoice previews, one with our custom message and one without. When our custom message is in place, we get both the custom message (completely unformatted) and the default message (formatted properly). When I remove the custom message, the preview shows no message at all, just the invoice section. 

I also tried the “after” message block - there is no formatting or line breaks. Screen shot attached.
