A few months ago, our club members could not access our website which has a custom domain (chinooktoastmasters.org) despite entering the DNS provided by FTH. When I contacted support, I was asked to contact our custom domain provider (which is GoDaddy). GoDaddy support confirmed that the DNS provided by FTH were entered correctly.
If I go to
chinooktoastmaster.org
, I now get an error message: "This Connection is Not Secure. This website does not support connecting securely over HTTPS. The information you see and enter on this website, including credit cards, phone numbers, and passwords, can be read and altered by other people.” The options available are to either continue or go back. If I hit the continue button, I get the following error message: “This Connection is Not Private. This website may be impersonating “50.19.253.65” to steal your personal or financial information. You should close this page.” The options are to show details or close page. If I choose the show details button, I get “Safari warns you when a website has a certificate that is not valid. This may happen if the website is misconfigured or an attacker has compromised your connection. To learn more, you can view the certificate. If you understand the risks involved, you visit this website.” If I choose “view the certificate,” I get a screen I have never seen before with odd terms. If I choose “visit the website,” I am directed to the FTH Request a Website page. (My computer is a Mac Studio.). I get the same message with or without our VPN turned on.
Thank you for any assistance you can provide.
