Compatibility with password managers (BitWarden)

I use Bitwarden to manage my passwords.  It works quite well, and did work until a few days ago on FTH.  Autofill no longer works.

I was able to edit my FTH entry and add custom fields for user and pass, but only user works.  Pass no longer works.

This isn't a show-stopper, but is inconvenient.  I have to click the extension icon, click copy, click password, then paste in the field.  vs hitting CTRL-L

If this can be addressed it would be appreciated.  ( or explained    ).  Thanks!

Ironically it Bitwarden still works for this forum.

This is has nothing to do with FTH. We have not made any changes with the log in panels in quite some time.

Check youor browser settings.

This isn't a showstopper, but out of curiosity I've had some time to check in in with Bitwarden themselves.  They indicate it's due to the "autocomplete" HTML tag in the input field.  Setting it to off (the current situation) disables password managers (although some browsers ignore the setting, apparently).

Here's some  information on autocomplete .  Here's the section on login fields
Here's my interaction with Bitwarden's community forum

For what it's worth, toastmasters.org uses:
<input id="signInName" class="textInput" type="email" placeholder="Email" title="Email address that can be used to contact you." aria-required="true" autofocus="autofocus">
...
<input id="password" class="textInput" type="password" placeholder="Password" title="Enter password" autocomplete="new-password" aria-required="true">
It's odd that it used to work for me until recently.  Perhaps my browser ignored the setting, but now it's respecting it.

We haven't changed anything, there is nothing we can do for you and your use of a third party product.
