FTH cannot help with custom domain accounts. Someone from your club needs to log into that GoDaddy account and renew the domain.

Once that is done you can check the DNS settings in that domain account to ensure they are still configured correctly;

Dear RHTaylor3,
Thanks for the quick response.
I just checked the cost of renewing my club's custom Website.
I am unwilling to pay for it. Is there a way to stop using the custom website and just get directly plugged back into the FTH eco system?

Please advise,
Elaine Takagi

Yes you can plug into FTH. Your FTH site already exists at
5988.toastmastersclubs.org
or at the alias
northside.toastmastersclubs.org

To regain admin access, submit the form at www.toastmastersclubs.org/change

Once admin access is restored, you can update the site, add members, etc.

Finally, you’ll want to log into Toastmasters.org , go to club central, and reroute your weblink to your FTH address.

Good luck!

Peter's suggestions are the way to go.

If you don't mind my adding; your comment suggests that your GoDaddy account may contain more than it needs. The cost of an annual web host subscription exceeds what most TM clubs can cover with annual dues. (I have a business domain hosted on GoDaddy at $22.99/yr. The web hosting plan tied to that domain is close to $200/yr)

Web hosting is NOT needed in order to have your custom domain point to your FTH site.

The annual cost of maintaining a domain name should be a reasonable percentage of annual club dues. (No need to discuss here as it's matter for your club's officer committee.)

A club may prefer to have the branding available via a custom domain only. (not a web hosting service) This is why FTH provides the ability for clubs to use a custom domain with the FTH ecosystem.

I assumed from your message that your club was not currently using FTH but had it's own custom website for which you were paying hosting fees.

Even if you do want to transition to using your old domain, www.northsidetm.org , with your FTH website, which, as Richard says, is an affordable $23/year, I believe custom domains for clubs are unnecessary. Web use has evolved and users don't type domain addresses like they used to.

An FTH web alias, in your case northside.toastmastersclubs.org  is sufficient, free, and hassle-free.
