How to increase agenda print size [using IE]

This tip shows how to increase the print size of the agenda. The trick is to use Internet Explorer and the print preview menu options.
Open the agenda in IE and click the print button. Close the default print dialog box.
In the upper right corner of IE, click the Gear Icon > Print > Print Preview
At the top of the window is a print size field. Choose Custom Size and Type 115%. Notice the size difference between these two screenshots.
Bonus tip: While in the print preview options, uncheck the header/footer option. Not printing IE's header/footer content makes the agenda look a bit cleaner.

Nice.
You can also adjust the print margins in Print Preview to maximize the printable area which potentially allows for an even larger font size using your method.
Unfortunately, since the reports and printouts seem to load the default print dialog box vs the print preview window, I think that many people may be unaware of the controls that browsers already offer to maximize the font size.
An improvement suggestion for a future FTH update might be to load the print preview window instead since it offers more user control of the printout.

Hey Steve thanks for the margin tip. I already had mine dialed down to 1/4" so did not think to include that info in my post.
Again, thanks for catching that.

Hi,
Thank you for the help, unfortunately it doesn’t work if we have 3 speakers scheduled. It creates a 2 page agenda.
I changed the margins to .17 top & bottom and the sides to .25.
I also tried changing the font in IE to arial 11 and this didn’t help.

Is there a possibility that you could respond with a PDF of your agenda printout?
Perhaps we can provide some suggestions for you.
