Calendar Event Information

It has been a while since I have been the VPPR for a club but I am now assisting The hpherndon.toastmastersclubs.org setup their website. This is a newly chartered club here in the DC Metro area and I would like to post the TLI events in the Calendar with the addresses of the locations so that are members can see that they can attend any TLI session to get credit for it and do not have to only attend the one nearest to the meeting location. Is this a feature that will be added back to the Calendar?

Not sure what you mean by added back.

You can create an entry in the calendar and put a URL to a webpage that has the information your want to provide.

To add on to what Brian is noting, you can either upload a flyer/notice to the public downloads area and include a link to that file as the URL link Brian is pointing to.

OR

You could create a Custom Web Page that you include the URL for as a link in the calendar entry. If you do not want the Custom Web Page to show up in the menu, then you can set it as Unlisted. (Calendar entries are a good use of Unlisted Custom Pages.)

For instance; from the TLI registered information, I can only enter the Heading and URL. I was once able to add the Address, City, State, Zip Code and Time into the calendar with the URL before. This assumes that user will copy and paste the location into the same browser window or another window to find the location. I want to keep my viewers on my page.

on FTH2 you have only ever been able to put the heading and a url.

It must have been the previous version. I worked in DC back in 2009 where I was the VPPR and I thought that I was able to put all of that information in because several members lived in the DC area and I pointed out that they do not have to attend the training sessions in the District of the club because it was inconvenient at times to make the meetings. Having that information in the calendar made it easy to open and jot down.

I'm also trying to stay close to HPs branding, is there a way to import fonts? HP has their own Font for Branding and the club wants to stay as close as possible to the branding principles like TLI.
