Scrolling Banner on Home Pa

I read the comments from 2012 and tried the suggestions, with no result. I would like to create a scrolling banner so I can announce a meeting cancellation. I would use it for other notices also.

I have tried a number of things but have not yet succeeded.

Where do I find the Editor's Source Code?

What tab do I select to get to where the coding will activate?

I have been able to create banner coding and text, but have not yet figured out where to place it for it to work.

Check out your home page now.

When editing the home page, click on the Source button at upper left to change the marque text. Make sure you change out of Source view before saving the home page.
