Create New Agenda Template from Word Doc

7 years 4 months ago
#75276
Hi,

I'm new to this site and I was hoping to upload a word document as a new meeting agenda template.

Is this possible and if so, how can I do it? There's information on this agenda that I cannot get to transfer over to the default agenda templates.

I attached last meeting's agenda as a reference.
Thanks,
Chris Logan

No we do not support any other agenda print templates other than the 2 we provide.

You can copy our print agenda into and modify it as you please, but it can not be imported back.
Thank you,

Thanks for the prompt response Brian.

In regards to the 2 print templates, I seem to be only able to view 1 template until I'm ready to print. Could you direct me to how I can view or edit the other template prior to printing?
Thanks,
Chris Logan

Our raw print layouts are complicated HTML templates and dynamically filled with data to produce what you see onscreen. The print layouts are not really suited for editing in something like MS Word.

We also use the word "templates" in a different context for FTH, so I am using "print layouts" here to refer to the HTML templates that I define for printing agendas to lessen confusion. (very different)

As Brian is pointing out, you can copy and paste the final filled print layout into Word (or MS Excel) and edit it as you wish. You select the print layout when you click the printer icon to print an agenda. That causes one of our HTML print templates to be used by the system for displaying your agenda information.
