Migrating to FTH4

Your club admin received the instructions to update their admin password to access FTH4. (FTH3 admin passwords will NOT work in FTH4). Follow the instructions in the email and use 'Member sign in' in the top right corner to access the Club Admin account.

If you are not sure who the club admin is, in your member account; look at 'Club Officers and Members' > "Club Email addresses". The LAST item in this list is the person who is currently listed as your club admin.

If this is not correct, please complete and submit this form to change your club admin:
www.toastmastersclubs.org/welcome/change-admin/

Cannot connect to MySQL database. Error

Dear WebmasterClub #5181586 – Port Melbourne Toastmasters – portmelbournetoastmasters.orgI am experiencing a couple of issues on the website:
  1. I am unable to access agendas.
  2. I can launch the admin console, but I cannot access any functions or content inside it.
The issues first noticed today, 16 December 2025.Operating system, browser, & browser version
  • Operating system: Windows 10
  • Browser: Google Chrome
  • Browser version: Version 142.0.7444.176 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Browser cache has been refreshed. Cookies are enabled.Here is the error:Software error:Cannot connect to MySQL database. Error=[Can't connect to local server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2)]  at /var/www/cgi-bin/dbi_db.pl line 76.For help, please send mail to the webmaster (), giving this error message and the time and date of the error.Software error:[Tue Dec 16 01:15:45 2025] index.cgi: Cannot connect to MySQL database.
