File Manager Folders would work better if collapsed on opening the File Manager

Our club, Pointe-Claire Toastmasters, 9750, is 26 years old.  We therefore have a lot of files and folders going back  long way. Whenever I as admin, or the Sectretary opens the file manager, There is a tremendous amount of scrolling through screens of date, to get to the folder we need in order to add files.  I find myself scrolling and collapsing, over and over, just to get to where I want to go.  

It would be so much easier if the folders were always in a state of collapse until there are needed, where It is a quick click to open to access a file. I cold find no way to do this.  I collapse them all, but when I come back, le voila, back to the fully opened state.

This, I feel, would make a marvelous new format, even better.

Yes, Thank you for such a quick response.

Except...
This does work for members who want to look up a file. But for the admin who wants to go trhough to organize, add or modify a file, it is still fully expanded for me.  
Even when I changed, for example, Folder one to Collapse on site, it expands the folder that I had closed and I have to start all over to close and search.
