Unable to sign up for roles using the agenda embedded in an email

Hello,
The week of July 6th or so our members were no longer able to use the sign up button in an agenda embedded in an email to sign up for a role in an upcoming meeting. Prior to July 6th or so when a member used the mail icon at the top right of an agenda, sent an email with an embedded agenda to members, members could simply click the sign up button and the website agenda would automatically update and add the member to the role. Now the embedded agenda is non-functional for some members or opens another window where the member is asked for user name and password before the website agenda is update. For at least one member the embedded agenda works the same as it did in June.

We did recently update some text on our home page but I am unaware of any members changing any email settings.

How are your sending the embedded agendas?
Are you using the Agenda Email function?
You have ALWAYS had to log in to access the Agendas, even to use the email signup.

I have tested your agenda and it works exactly as it is supposed to.

Thank you for your reply. We use the email icon on the top right of the agenda to send it to members.

It must be something on the member end. The embedded agendas work differently for different users.

For some it doesn't do anything when they click the "Sign up" button. For others a pop up window that requests user name and password or an email appears requesting they send the request when they hit the "Sign up" button (even if logged in). For others clicking the "Sign up" button simply signs them up without a second pop up or email. Previously all members could use the "Sign up" button to sign up for a role seamlessly.

I will check in with members who have the inactive embedded agendas and try some other troubleshooting.

Look at the link that their email is showing them for the signup button, it has to be your site.
Those are not getting a prompt are probably already signed in, from another activity.
