List All Agendas and Creating a new agenda from another one

A Tip:

You can use an existing dated agenda as a template for a new agenda. However, the list of dated agendas that shows up in the Template listing corresponds to whether you have clicked List All Agendas on the main agenda screen--it is basically just a copy of the main agenda selection list. If you need to pick a very old agenda to use as a template for a new one, then click List All Agendas before clicking the Create Agenda button. You will find that the list of old agendas contains the complete list then.

While that was useful, I have another challenge.

How do I copy an existing agenda template into another agenda template to avoid having to start with an empty one?

Thanks,
Don

just create a new agenda using any previous agenda as the template.

All of you questions are answered in the documentation, you really should read it.

Thank you for your quick response. But all you did is point me to what the original post said to do. Which I tried, and is a nice way to create copies of agendas to create other agendas.

Please understand that I have read the manual, and I've been working with agendas and agenda templates for a number of years now while being the webmaster for 2 FTH clubs sites.

So back to my original question - Is there a way to make a copy of an agenda template to create another agenda template?

This would be a useful feature, that I do not believe you can currently do within FTH.

Thanks!
Don

Create a dated agenda from it then save that agenda as a named template.

OK that was NOT intuitive, but it worked! :)

Thanks a lot for the help.

Now for a real hard one - is there some way to export an agenda template so that I can bring it from one clubs FTH to another?

It takes a long time to get a good template setup, so I really don't like the thought of having to do that just to duplicate an agenda template on my 2nd clubs website.

Best Regards,
Don
