Arlynn,

I looked over your D40 website. Here are my thoughts:

1. Overall, it is very nicely organized. You are using table layouts very effectively on your home page and other pages.

2. Also, you are strategically locating links to other pages in your content where people would expect to find them. Good work!

3. Some things to look at:
>>a. Maybe reduce some of the vertical spacing on your home page.
>>b. Maybe look for where you can add some more color. With the extra space on your home page and the lack of any additional color, the page looks a bit "bland". You might consider either doing a page background color or website background color/image, for example. It does not have to be anything drastic... subtle color variations can often make a big difference.

4. Get more familiar with email features and functionality.
>>a. You have a direct mailto link on your home page that will likely get spammed a lot. You should make a custom group email address for that person (e.g. tli-d40@toastmastersdistricts.org) and instead use that email address which will force emails to go through the FTH system to reduce spam risk.
>>b. Set up your archive email address. I recommend using a Gmail address because that will give you access to all of Google's online apps which would be shareable with the entire district. For instance, if you do that, you could create forms (via Google Forms) that can be embedded in your website or distributed to people in your district (e.g. for surveys and to sign up for events).

5. Fill out the Description and Keywords sections in Website settings so that your website can be more easily found by search engines. (improves SEO)
