Migrating to FTH4

Your club admin received the instructions to update their admin password to access FTH4. (FTH3 admin passwords will NOT work in FTH4). Follow the instructions in the email and use 'Member sign in' in the top right corner to access the Club Admin account.

If you are not sure who the club admin is, in your member account; look at 'Club Officers and Members' > "Club Email addresses". The LAST item in this list is the person who is currently listed as your club admin.

If this is not correct, please complete and submit this form to change your club admin:

Admin logon

For the new freetoasthost 4.0, how can we make it so that the administrator access can be accessible by 3 people instead of only 1 person. Currently our website has just been upgraded to the newer version of freetoasthost 4.0, but now I cannot log on anymore using the old admin user name and password. It only sticks with one personal email of the person who used to be the "admin" in our old website. He is one of our administrators, but I want to be able to have at least 3 people who can manage the website instead of only one person. Now no one has access to admin part of the website other than one individual. How can we make that change so that we can log on as long as we have the user name and password, like the old freetoasthost 3.0? We just don't want to count on only one person being the admin and if he doesn't know how to update certain page, then no one else has the authority, esp as the admin is under his individual email and obviously he cannot share his own logon password with other members. Is there a way around it to put more than one person as admin on freetoasthost 4.0?

You can't.
The club admin can delegate different parts to the officers responsible.

The admin logs in as admin-club_number and a FTH password. The admin password is not the same as the admin's personal email password.

It is possible to share admin access, but be cautious. You want to make sure your efforts are coordinated and that you're not undoing each others work.

With that qualification, it is possible to grant admin access to multiple people. Create a club email account if you don't have one already - easy to do with Gmail - and then change the admin email to the club email account. This address and password can be safely shared. You should also use this address for your archive. See email settings.

Also, you can grant access to specific functions such as agendas, dues, etc. to multiple officers without granting them admin access. The admin can do this through the Access Settings tool.
