Migrating to FTH4

Your club admin received the instructions to update their admin password to access FTH4. (FTH3 admin passwords will NOT work in FTH4). Follow the instructions in the email and use 'Member sign in' in the top right corner to access the Club Admin account.

If you are not sure who the club admin is, in your member account; look at 'Club Officers and Members' > "Club Email addresses". The LAST item in this list is the person who is currently listed as your club admin.

If this is not correct, please complete and submit this form to change your club admin:

You put this message out; 
"At this time, functions on FTH4 sites cannot be hidden. We want clubs to see all of the features, and that's less likely to happen if those features are hidden."
This is a problem for the two sites I administer. There are empty, unused pages that we don't want to use. Having empty Calendar of meeting, for example, could mislead prospective visitors into thinking we don't have any upcoming meetings scheduled. (We don't want to enter meetings in the calendar by building agendas for the meetings in FTH. We use Easy-Speak for that.) We don't want any Meet Our Members page public. And so on.
We know what we want to show the public. Please let us show what we want and not have empty pages cluttering up our presentation to guests.

There is no way to hide anything in FTH4 at this time.

You can manually enter events in the calendar
Sign in 
Go to the calendar
click on the date enter the information and time

I am logged into the admin console. There is no button marked "Calendar" so when you say "Go to the calendar," you mean where, exactly and step by step, if you would. WAIT. If I log out of the admin console and look at the public facing page, then click Meetings (not "Calendar") then I can click on a date and enter a meeting there. That is what you are talking about. To enable the VPPR to do so on his personal login, I need to give him what permission?

Any logged-in member can add a calendar item. No special permissions are needed. They just appear with a different background colour from items added by the admin.
