New "Opt In' Feature for newly added members

It is also mentioned in a pop-up notification that shows when a new member is added.

I also had sent out an admin message about this.

Honestly, we do try to make these things conspicuous. It is frustrating that for everything we do to make these things obvious and conspicuous, it seems that there are always users who say that they did not see it and we need to do more. We could make flashing neon colored messages all over the screen, but then someone would probably complain about that.

I just think that people are subjected to information overload... We are fighting for users attention amongst all the other things they are trying their best to pay attention to. It is an ongoing challenge.

And...it is temporarily added to the Important Information -- Please Read.

But as Steve mentioned, it is difficult to get all members to notice all of the information that is being provided.
