How do I change the FTH3 listing for our club with the new initials? White Mountain Toastmasters, club 5122 is changing from WMTM to WMT because Toastmasters is all one word!
Last edit: 6 years 3 months ago by sheilaoranch. Reason: had not included club number in original question message

You already changed the club alias.
wmt.toastmastersclubs.org/ is working
Thank you,

Does that mean that everyone will need to opt-in again?

No.

The data for your club in our database is still the same data, including all the opt-in details. We do not delete that if you are just changing your website alias.

What will change is login details... the way you access your website. Your log-in status is saved in a cookie file on each person's computer and that cookie is tied to the website address, so when you change it the system will treat everyone as being logged out.

You and everyone in your club will need to access your website with the new website alias. For club members that have set up a bookmark to your club website, they may need a bit of "coaching" to change their bookmark to the new website address using the new website alias.

I would refer you to the following doc: support.toastmastersclubs.org/doc/item/d...tical-considerations

There are useful things to consider in that doc.

After a lively discussion at the last meeting, the club voted to return our club initials to WMTM. How can I do that?
