Members roles disappearing or getting knocked out of a role without knowledge was created by donnastolz.d2
Hi - I am VPE of my club this year and we have had a few recent instances where a member disappeared from an agenda without their name appearing in the Member Access Log, and we have had a member state that the role they took was subsequently taken by another person without their pror knowledge. I did not think this was possible except by the officers who have access to the Admin Console. Our officers have stated that they have not made the changes I've asked about. Is there any other way this could be happening? I wish to stop this before it gets worse. One member is already disgruntled and I don't want that member to leave because of it.

Thank you in advance.

1) we always need you club number.
2) please specific, dates of the agenda and at least first names of people involved.
3) have the people confirmed their roles and how long is your confirmed span for?

It can also be done by agenda editors (e.g. the Toastmaster or other meeting roles marked as editors). You have the Toastmaster marked as a meeting role that can edit agendas.

Hi Steve and Brian - thank you both for your replies. I am having this issue with Club No. 1705642, Aspiring Leaders Toastmasters.
I sent out the 9/7 meeting agenda on Tuesday, 9/3, to our members and member Bryan Clifford was in as Table Topics. When I logged in on Wednesday 9/4 to see if anyone had take open evaluator roles, Bryan's name was gone from the Table Topics spot; it was open. I was tjhe Toastmaster for this one (9/7); I can assure you it was not me who removed Bryan, unless I hit the "x" by mistake as I was logging out. Can you see that in the background?
A few weeks ago member Nan Nan Liu reported that she had signed up for roles, one week as a speaker and another as an evaluator, and both times someone had removed her and another had taken the role.
I don't know whether the people mentioned above confirmed their roles. Thank you in advance for further details if you have them.

We do not track or log who takes roles and who drops roles, so there is nothing for us to check "in the background".
What I can tell you is that the system works the same for all clubs. If there was a system bug, it would affect all clubs using the system and we probably would hear about it from a number of clubs. Not seeing that.
As I indicated, the Toastmaster can remove people from roles if they are set as an agenda editor. Also, if someone says they are not attending a meeting, they will be removed from any roles they were assigned to.
