Former members receiving club emails, how to remove?

Title explains it all really! I have a long list of former members and I want to make sure they dont still get the club emails.

How do I update the club website for the listserv?

Just check the members in Membership Management to move to the former members list, then select Move to Former Members from the Membership Management Tools drop-down menu.

Thanks, so the problem is that even some former members are still receiving club emails, and they are on that former member's list already! What else should I do?
