Happy New Year to the FTH team!
In previous years, all officers used the same admin login password to log in to our club's website. I made changes to our FTH website and gave access to officers based on their role; the president was given access to everything. This change was announced at the Exec Comm meeting. This change meant that I was the sole user of the admin password. I encouraged the officers to let me know if they needed access to other features.
My question to you: is it best practice to delegate access to officers? what are the pros and cons of all officers using the admin password? Does FTH have a documented policy about sharing the admin password (I searched for this, couldn't find any documentation).
I'm asking because I want to give accurate information to the incoming VP PR.
