How to make a change show up

Our Area number changed so I corrected the number on our Agenda page using the Amin Consol.  The number shows up properly on that page but after saving the change, the number isn't showing up correctly when the Agenda is accessed.  It's in the description section.  Anyone know how to get the change recognized?

Hi William.   There is a bit of nuance to how the agenda templates and agendas work that is key to understanding what you see.  What is in the Admin Console for agendas are Agenda Templates and the default Meeting Description... there are also global settings there, but I do not think they are as relevant to your inquiry.

Here is the thing... the templates and meeting description in the admin console should be considered as "starting material" for building templates.  That means that you use those to create new dated agendas, but once those dated agendas are created, they exist independently and are not linked in any way to what is in the admin console for agendas.   As a consequence, you cannot update content for agendas in the admin console and expect it to update already existing dated agendas...   It just does not work that way (never has).   One a dated agenda is created, it exists on its own, and you have to edit that dated agenda directly in the meeting agenda module with the pencil button there.

Hi Steve,Yep, a bit of nuance but now I understand.  I changed all the existing Agendas and will amend the template(s).  Much appreciated.  Thanks of all you do for Toastmasters.  We changed over to FTH a year ago and are now comfortable using it.  Took a while to get our older members trained but we're glad we switched.   William
