In Hide Menu Links make Meeting Agendas & Quick Role Sign-Up separate checkboxes
6 years 8 months ago - 6 years 8 months ago
Right now in Hide Menu Links, "Meeting Agendas & Quick Role Sign-Up" is a single checkbox. I have considered hiding only the Quick Role Sign-Up and only allowing for Meeting Agendas. My reasoning is that I want people to view the meeting agenda and see the messages/rules on the top of the agenda before they sign up for a role.
If they use Quick Role Sign Up, they miss the important meeting messages/rules we put on the top of the agenda, so I just want to hide Quick Role Sign Up but not the Meeting Agendas. The other problem I have with the Quick Role Sign-Up feature is that it doesn't ask the user to enter their speech title/project # so the member never knows they need to do this and we have to reach out to these members every time.

1) Although we do enjoy your well thought out comments, you are not displaying a club you are a member of. Please post your valid club number.
2) the club you are displaying has an invalid club contact email address on their home page. Only members can email the officer-nnnn email address. The club needs to activate the club contact email address and use that for external contact email

This is reasonable. However, I will probably not make the change until I update the Quick Role-Sign up form. I want to add one or two things to it. (keeping quiet on those

I would like to second the request for adding functionality to hide "Quick Role Sign-Up" separately from Meeting Agendas. Although purely selfish, of low priority and cosmetic only, our members get confused easily by overlapping options. I've tried to slim menu options to bare minimum and in a single place only (image attached). Hiding "Quick Role Sign-Up" will help in that effort.
Although your teaser "(keeping quiet on those
) is mighty enticing so I may change my mind.
