Thanks for asking the question. I also saw it in an email "Meeting Notification: Attendance" and wondered if this was already in place.

Part of the message says;
<Member 1> has indicated that <Member 2> will be attending this meeting{{remotely}}.

Steve - I see your answer and understand how difficult it is to overhaul something on that massive level. Thank you to you and everyone else behind the scenes at FTH for all your hard work!!

Related to what Richard Taylor was saying... the attendance field could be stored in the back end the same way (yes,no,uncertain) but for short-term a 4th radio button could be added to the attendance window for "yes, remotely". (Keep the uncertain as the default). Both yes answers would then be stored as "yes" so none of the other functionality related to that would need to change. The remote or in-person field could then be stored internally as a separate field that is only shown in the attendance window and eventually migrate into the rest of the system.

The only problem with that approach is I don't think there are many people that even know there is an attendance window! The email response is so convenient, I almost never look at it unless I am the TMOD or want to see the reports.

Would love to see how this evolves!

+1 from me for couple of changes to the attendance, if I may.

1) Add the online vs in-person attendance option, please. We prefer in-person meetings (when it's safe) with an option for members to join online. The trick is that we set up the hybrid kit *only* if we know there will be members also online. Having it already on the attendance list would be useful. We also sometimes need to cap the room attendance and knowing who's queueing to the room would be really valuable. For us, this will potentially continue for couple of years - if not even become a permanent way we operate.

2) Somehow call out the difference between when a member responds 'Uncertain' vs when they are yet to respond. They both seem now to be shown in the same "bucket".

Morning Steve, (here at least),

As a follow up to this post and to  #88074  I am hoping to leverage the attendance feature at our club. I can see that according to the attendance report legend, there is an option available for the members to indicate that they are attending remotely.  Our members are given one of only three options for attendance notification as shown in the attached image.

Is the additional option, "Yes, remotely" something that I, as admin, need to turn on?  If so, I have not been able to find aa way to activate this feature for our site.

Thanks in advance for your help,
