Agenda - allow customization to role start times

We allow time for role changeovers on our agendas of about 1 minute between roles. This is reality, allowing for the Toastmaster to introduce the next role, that person to get up from their seat, go to the lectern and hand off with the Toastmaster. We allow 2 minutes for prepared speech introductions. I'd like the ability to specify start times for every role, instead of the next role starting at the same minute the previous role ends.

I am sorry, but that is a very old way that the agendas were done and it was an absolute horrible mess.  There is no way I am going back to that.

However, if you wanted the addition of a role changeover time option for selected agenda items, I could see maybe adding something like that.

Let me ask you... Do you consider the role changeover time to be a part of the time for the upcoming role or for the role last completed?  I am thinking it is the former, but I thought I would ask.  I am thinking you probably consider it to be essentially "setup time".

It is set up time for the upcoming role. We found that without adding a minute or two between roles, our meetings would always run late. So we have used these bumpers for many years with great success. But we don't want them to show on the agenda as part of the Role time because we don't want people filling that role to think they have that much time. So we make the next role start one or two minutes later than the previous role ended.

Our club makes extra agenda lines for the handovers -- partly to include the time needed, and partly to help new members see how the handovers fit in. This is a little frustrating in Toasthost, because many handovers could be 30 seconds, but Toasthost only understands full minutes. We would like the ability to use 15 second or 30 second increments for timing short agenda items.

Just wondering if there is an update on plans to allow for some amount of customization in role start times -- or to at least exclude "role changeover" (setup times) from showing on the emailed agenda. I'd really like to continue using the FTH online agenda, but am having some pushback from our officer team on the appearance of "Role Changeovers" throughout the emailed agenda.
