(For reference, I just entered a post on this topic in the General Discussion forum.)
I've recently moved from the East Coast of the United States to the West Coast, and since doing so I've been finding that some events on my home district's (117) calendar are showing up on the day before they're actually scheduled. After some experimentation I've found that the events for which this is occurring are listed as "all-day" events. My hypothesis is that these events are being tagged as taking place at 12:00 am, and that the system is moving them to 9:00 pm (my local time) - which would be the day before.
I believe this behavior violates the intent behind the policy of making automatic time-zone adjustments and is therefore highly confusing. All-day events should be tied to a specific day, with end-users making any adjustments as required. After all, most "all-day" events are NOT 24 hour events fut rather "all of the business day".
