Set up a New Member and their Email Address is not working

We just had a New Member join our Club in the US and she is from Germany. Her email address is not a .com or .org address, it is a .de address. For some reason she is not receiving any of the email messages that I send to her (i.e. Welcome Message) and she is unable to log into the website. Is this something that can be corrected from the backend or does she have to get a new email address?

1) please post your club number in every post then we can see what is going on.

2) please provide the members first name.
